CBQS External Collaborators
The center has a close collaboration with the Pointsman Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to advances in the physical sciences that benefit humanity.
One of the PIs (M. Raizen) is the Founder, Chairman of the Board and President of the Pointsman Foundation. The activities of the foundation start from the production of medical isotopes in a for-profit/non-profit model where isotope sales will support all other activities of the Foundation.
The Pointsman Foundation will provide the needed stable isotopes to the Center at no cost, conditioned upon available resources. At the end of the proposed 6-year funding period of the Center, the Pointsman Foundation intends to partner with the Novo Nordisk Foundation to establish a joint Pointsman/NNF Lab in the Copenhagen area.
The combination of the knowledge and fundamental achievements of the PIs with the program of tight collaboration with the medical institutions and the Pointsman Foundation will make CBQS a unique entity within the global landscape of quantum technologies.
